As you know, it's been a struggle to document Clara A. Chapman before she married James N. Hembree. They were married in New Lewisville, Arkansas on July 9, 1895. My sisters and I traveled to New Lewisville to obtain a copy of the marriage license which states she was from the area. In an effort to identify her and her family I am doing a deep dive into the Chapmans of the surrounding counties from as far back as I am able to, compiling information about various families. It has created quite a bit of documentation that I cannot just throw away so it's getting it's own page to assist with others who may have an interest. These are in no certain order.
